Singapore Trip: Maritime Museum and S.E.A. Aquarium

Last September my travelling partner and me went to Singapore to watch F1 Night Race. Since the main race is on Sunday, so we decided to having fun in Sentosa island the day before the race. This time our destination is Maritime Museum and S.E.A Aquarium.

These two attractions are located in the same building, so usually people who came to the museum will also come to the Aquarium and vice-versa. We bought the ticket online through discounted online sale at www.rwsentosa.com and we just bring the printed ticket to the entrance gate.

The Maritime Museum describes the history of trading and religion spread in Asia through the sea. The interior were really cool. when entering the museum, we were welcome by the lion head that look as if it was carved on the huge ship hull. There were also floating ships on the ceilling. But the most jaw dropping view is the representation of Noah's ark.

There were also fun musical game booth and the history of a pirate name William Kidd who was hanged because he found guilty for murdering and 5 counts of piracy.

In the Museum, there also a theater name typhoon theater. To enter this theater, we had to pay additional SGD10 each. The waiting are before the movie started was interesting and completed with games to make people less bored. Frankly, the movie was not as amazing as I thought it was. The exit door of the theater is in the S.E.A. Aquarium. So you'll be amazed when seeing the shipwreck that welcomes you to the Aquarium.

The aquarium collection is complete and informative. So, besides seeing the beautiful fishes swimming in the tanks, you can also learn about each fish story at each tanks. Some huge fish tanks in here are also mesmerizing.
